Sure! It depends on weather or not the car was originally a US car - If it was, you may be able to get past the border without paying taxes. It took me like an hour of arguing, but I got past without paying.

In terms of paperwork, you'll need a DOT form HS-7 and an EPA form 3520-1 to get across the border, plus whatever you'd need for CO DMV. Make sure to get a bill of sale, copy of the ad, and copy of the canadian registration. My DMV also wanted me to fill out a Canadian ABP9T, which didn't make much sense to me. The seller and I filled it out and turned it into the NC DMV (not the canaidan, like the form says).
