NSX Refresh Program proof.? NSX on BaT has a customer stating the car went through the entire refresh, including engine rebuild. Proof anywhere

I’ve heard of people who tossed their title to the car in the bin thinking they didn’t need it since “the government knows”. It’s wild.

This is so cool, really shows you the dedication and love by Honda for their creations. I hope it can come to the US someday but won’t hold my breath. Especially with the Japanese markets slumping lately.

    New taillight gaskets

Just did mine, you place the adhesive side on the taillight assembly itself. You’ll notice that the old gasket is stuck to the old assembly, not so much the car. I replaced mine while doing the JDM tail lights on my NA1 as well. The four gaskets are also numbered as different parts for left and...

CE28SL fitment on stock suspension ('91)

I actually am looking into getting some OEM 7 spoke wheels from the later models. Mostly because my OCD about OEM and if I did wheels it would be the only non-OEM thing (even if they’re gorgeous). Haven’t got them yet though but hopefully soon. I assume that won’t have any issues for fitment.

    Rodent Tape?

Wouldn't be surprised this stuff is fairly useful, especially for those who put their cars in long-term storage throughout different seasons. Fortunately there's no mice problem here with our abundance of snakes and birds of prey but those critters can cause a lot of damage. I recently replaced...

'91 First CEL at 69k (stock), code #44

Well it looks like things are adding up! The rear O2 sensor actually separated the core from the inner metal shroud and popped out of the exhaust manifold area. Explains the code and exhaust leak at the same time… Fortunately was able to get the old O2 sensor piece removed without any damage to...

***STICKY*** Gen1 NSX Current Market Analysis

You’ll see dealers buy these cars and sell (finance) them to clout chasers. I’ve seen a few dealer listings of mkIV Supras for 60-80k at 150K+ miles.

'91 First CEL at 69k (stock), code #44

Thanks again for the informative reply, seems I am learning a lot quickly. I should be able to return the unneeded O2 sensors, no worries there. Afterfire is the correct term here as to what is happening. The noise definitely comes from the rear of the car, near the exhaust area and not engine...

    Hi from Charlotte

That's me! I travel along 521 pretty regularly and have been enjoying the (new to me) car. Though I'm in the middle of diagnosing some O2 sensor/exhaust leak "fun" right now so the AP2 is probably going to come out more for a bit.

    Hi from Charlotte

Also from the Charlotte area, or right around the outskirts in SC.

'91 First CEL at 69k (stock), code #44

Thanks everyone for the advice, I greatly appreciate it. Gone ahead and ordered the Denso O2 sensors for all four (234-4065, 234-4093, and 234-4209). Will have them replaced soon out of caution. I reset the ECU this morning and let it warm up and re-learn idle from a cold start (~40*F this...

'91 First CEL at 69k (stock), code #44

Well I guess it was only a matter of time for it to happen to me, I was just hoping not this early into my ownership (less than a month)! The car is a '91 NA1, bone stock and in amazing condition. Single owner, have all the service records since 1994, just got it back with a clean bill of health...

Blew a coolant hose under the car so I made a video to help others

I think it's not (just) age but also heat stress over the years. I'm not sure if there is some (slow) chemical reaction that takes places with the rubber and coolant either that would be vastly different than them being stored in a cool/dry place in storage. As for sourcing the parts, I know...

Update: We're limiting production of our NSX parts. No new development will be made for future projects.

I’ve been eyeing the kit too, my understanding of that was to clarify which you should order for fitment on your car. Given how subpar the ABS system is on the early model year cars, I can’t imagine how the 00+ kit would be worse in any way.
