NSXPO is the annual nation-wide event for the NSX Club of America. Each NSXPO includes social events, tours, scenic group drives, tech seminars, aftermarket vendor displays, show & shines, entertainment, local sightseeing, and an optional driving school at a nearby racetrack. It was started through the efforts of long time NSX owner and NSXCA member Ken Sax in 1997. The first NSXPO was in 1997 in Colorado and there was no NSX Club of America at that time. The funds for the event were advanced from, and paid to, Ken. The event made a small profit, and that was used as the seed money to start the NSX Club of America the following year, under the direction of David Hwang. All subsequent NSXPO's starting with NSXPO '98 (in Ohio) have been held as an official event of, and under the guidance of the NSX Club of America. Each year, the club solicits bids from volunteers to host the event; when the club approves a bid, the group that prepared it becomes the planning committee which makes all the arrangements and does the work to hold the event.
