I finally got off my ass and installed the SOS GRF quick release hub with cruise control.

Is the cruise button an option? Or is it a custom mod that you had made?

By the way.... it looks really nice. I also like how it is hidden behind the steering wheel. VERY NICE!

Where did that slip ring setup come from?...or is that the stock one? I have never had my wheel off.

Considering that I have done the same mod, I was just curious if you had problems with removing those star bolts off of the OEM steering wheel?

the torx bolts were a bit tight on one of them only but it came off with no problems.

The quick-release hub is intended for race cars with roll cages that make access into the seat difficult. They also seem to make good anti-theft devices as well

Makes total sense. I have been places where I had to leave my NSX parked (overnight situations mostly) where I would have loved to have had that. And now I'd like to have it even more.

the clip is for the cruise control only, so the horn works without the clip.
