Talking NSX VIN Decoder

The Decoding an NSX VIN section of the FAQs is helpful, but calculating that check digit by hand is pretty tedious. So, I wrote a VIN decoder, which can be found here: http://www.ojaspatel.com/nsx/DecodeVIN/ . It should work in IE5+ and NS6+ browsers.

It simply parses the VIN (according to the info in the FAQs), then calculates and verifies the check digit.

Lud, if you'd like to incorporate this decoder into the FAQs, just let me know and I'll send you the source.

Thumbs up

Very nice.. Definitely e-mail and I'll include it in the FAQ! Include your shipping address and shirt size w/ the e-mail and I'll see if we can get you a Comptech shirt or something.

I have a question.
How come in the faq under trim level the digits 5&6 only specify driver airbag, where the digit 8 represents dual airbags.

I believe 94 and up have dual airbags.
