I've got issues of Road & Track 'Exotic Cars' Special Series from the late 80's.
I'm doing some scans of covers and two cars that are very special.

(reserved for later)

November 1989
Twin Turbos, High Boost Supercharger, 10,000RPM, Civics, Pantera, and everything in between. A massive festival of performace with top names like Steve Millen. Five of the cars were Factory built efforts including Ford, Chevy, Pontiac, and Subaru.

This was also the time of a very memorable ad campaign by Pirelli which produced some great artwork. Available in frame and poster size if you knew the right people.

more to come. 1989 Exoctic Cars featuring the Koenig 928 S4 and Koenig Competition Supercharged Twin Turbo Ferrari Testarossa.

Twin tubrochargers and a supercharger work in concert to help the flat-12 put out more than double the power of it's stock Maranello brethren!

On to the Autobahn, slip over to the fast lane and nail it. You don't just get pushed back in the seat when the throttle goes down, you become part of the leather.

Place of honor in the Competitions's interior, we must add, goes to a small aluminum wheel situated on the console between the seats. It's purpose? Boost control. How much do you dare use...?

Thanks for looking, hope everyone enjoys. More to come.

Interesting. I met John Lamm at NSX Fiesta 2005. He had been asked by Honda Japan to do an article on the event. The interview we did with him made it into the final article. Nice guy.
