but i would like to see a real please

No, different hub bore, dosent mean you could'nt try it maybe with a 5mm spacer to negate the mismatch in hub diameter, who knows maybe you would'nt get a vibration:confused:

I tried putting my Volk GTP's from my NSX on my S2000 but they were way to wide in the back. Looked good from the side:biggrin:

Probably "wide"....too much holiday eggnog.

I meant wide, and it wasnt too much eggnog (I wish). Im sitting in my office right now and have a terrible cold.:frown:

Thats ok mike but the op wants to know if the wheel will fit I'm sure your 275 or so rear tire indeed looked out of wack.Btw the s2000 guys who are track whores can fit 275 tires on the s2000 with the right offset.

Mike - Hope you feel better soon; I too am in the middle of a terrible cold and taking antibiotics. Wishing you a Merry Christmas.

Having just put Japanese OEM S2000 Modulo wheels on my NSX, it will fit, but you will need to use spacers.

OEM 2004+ S2000 fronts have the same widths as OEM 1994-2005 NSX wheels

OEM 2004+ S2000 rears have the same widths as OEM 1994-2001 NSX wheels

The fronts have the same offset as OEM 1994-2005 NSX wheels, but need 3mm spacers to clear the 1997-2005 calipers. (This was for the Modulo wheels, your results may vary with the regular wheels.)

The rears need 5mm spacers to match the NSX offsets of the 1994-2001 OEM NSX wheels.

Centerbores are the same.

With 5mm spacers, I get 6.5 turns of the lug nut in the rear, and 7 turns in the front.

You will have to change the tires to NSX sizes. The front S2000 tires are too tall, and will rub.

Since it's the NSX picture section, here's some pics that NSX-Tuner posted of my car with the S2000 Modulo wheels.

http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showpost.php?p=730774&postcount=27

The raw data:

1994-2001 NSX Front: 16x7, 55 offset, 70.1mm centerbore
2002-2005 NSX Front: 17x7, 55 offset, 70.1mm centerbore
1994-2001 NSX Rear: 17x8.5, 60 offset, 64.1mm centerbore
2004+ S2000 Front: 17x7, 55 offset, 70.1mm centerbore
2004+ S2000 Rear: 17x8.5, 65 offset, 64.1mm centerbore

Thanks you very much!!!!!!!!!!

Ben thanks,I was wrong on the front centerbore being different, they are the same ,but I knew something did'nt match up and by your chart it is the rears' centerbore.

Oops, I typoed it. The rear centerbore is the same also. Corrected it in the original post.

Yes, old old thread, but new to me so here you go :)

HUGE improvement aesthetically over the tacky 15" chrome stockers. The fronts would be PERFECT (size, offsets, center bore, lug taper, even weight) except that the spokes don't curve out enough and wouldn't clear the calipers. Someone wrote that this happens only with '97+ brakes, but mine was a '92 and still wouldn't clear (maybe it's the other way around, since larger rotors would place the caliper further out on the wheel where there's more clearance?) I didn't try to do the rear after that point (the offsets are too low anyway).

Agreed. A very updated look indeed.

Just tried to put my S2000 CR wheels on my 04. Did not fit in the back and assume not in the front either. I had to put two of my 5mm spacers on the back to make it work. The wheel hit the brake caliper with 5mm and did ok with 10mm in the back. Doesn't look too bad. I like the darker color!

For the record the rear weights with my home scale:

Rear NSX: 45.0 lbs 17x9 255/40ZR17 Yok AVS ES100 tires
Rear S2000 CR: 49.6 lbs 17x8.5 255/40ZR17 Bridgestone Potenza RE070 tires

Enjoy.
