I know the 3.0L engine uses 56lb-ft (7.8kg/m) and that's for the oem composite head gasket.

What is the cylinder head bolt torque setting for the 3.2L oem head gasket? Is it different than the 3.0L?

The reason I'm asking is because I'm installing a 3.2L oem head gasket on the 3.0L engine. Since the 3.2 head gasket is made of layered steel, I figure the torque setting might be different.

Thnx in advance.

Henry.

give me a sec..looking it up

Ok so it's still 56 for a 3.0l car but it's 71ft lbs for a 3.2L car I would do three steps 21 lbs/48lbs/71lbs..make sure you have oil on the threads and some on the washers too...JZ

The part # for Cyl Head bolts is 90005-PH7-003 this is the same part for 91 NSX thru 2005 NSX as well.
