My first experience with this. I have 17x8.5 OEM rear wheels with 255/40/17 tires on them. Not good combination. Due to the narrowness of the wheels my tires were squeeze and the centre are higher than the side corner. Over the time the centre is worn more. Just like over inflating it. Reducing the air does not help the wearing either. Time to put on the original spec size tire (245/40/17).
