ScienceofSpeed & Cantrell Concepts Launch New GT-Series Widebody Conversion

ScienceofSpeed & Cantrell Concepts are excited to release the new Cantrell Studios GT-Series Widebody Conversion for NSX.

The GT-Series front conversion was designed to follow an organic speed sculpted shape with faithfulness of the original factory lines.

The front bumper is built around the 2002 headlights, which offer improved optics, lighting, and weight reduction. The bumper is compatible for 2002-later NSX or earlier cars with the ScienceofSpeed 2002 Headlight Conversion.

The bumper can be used with the factory front fenders, or with the new Cantrell Studios GT Front Fenders (shown). These fenders have a moderate flare of 30mm that retains the factory lines with an undrstated aggressive accent. The fenders include special features such as a CNC billet plug for the side markers resulting in a very high precision fit, the only aftermarket fender to retain the upper 3rd bolting location for increased strength, and a few subtle touches that tie everything together such as the character line that is retained from the side vent, into the door, and into the fenders on the factory car.

The front conversion can also be used with the Cantrell Studios widebody rocker panels and quarter panels for a very unique yet understated look.

The car is being premiered at this year's Atlantic City International Auto Salon in the Primedia Publishing booth. Please look foward to additional photos from the event.

Looks amazing. How much different are the wheel offesets on your GT-C's versus what you would run on the stock body?

That is an absolutely, positively knockout front end!! NICE!!! Please don't make a 91-2001 variation, 'cuz then I'll kick myself for not waiting.

(On a side note, the side skirts look like they'd got much better with a Wings West front spoiler than my MH replicas. If I had those, I wouldn't have had a need to go with my Taitec front. I could've kept the WW nose.)

Are those side skirts just modded Marga Hills skirts?

the GT kit looks awesome~! not as wild and aggressive as the JGTC kit, but definetly a step up from the more 'sexy/sleek' lines of a stock bodied nsx. (which im sure was the purpose of the GT kit).... it works~!!! looks awesome.

Is the only difference between the GTW skirts and the JGTC skirts the part where it meets the fender?

Correct, the Cantrell Widebody Rocker Panels (and quarter panels) used on the different cars are the same.

Can the GT bumper be used w/ the JGTC front fenders? How wide are the JGTC front fenders? How wide are the JGTC rear quarter panels? Thanks.

I'm sorry, they can not. The JGTC bumper and fenders are about 30mm wider at the point that they flange together. You may wish to consider the Yokota fenders which have a rear duct and are compatible with the GT-Series bumper. The wide rear quarter panels (which are the same for GT or JGTC front ends) are approximately 35mm wider.

I'm sorry to say, these components were discontinued a long time ago.
