Do you have a '94 with a VIN of LESS than 35?

In the search to answer the ultimate NSX question (at least for me) posted here , I've compiled a list of know '94s and the exterior/interior color combo and if it's an automatic or 5 speed.

If you have a 1994 NSX with a VIN of LESS THAN 35, please leave a post here as to the color combo and if it's a 5 speed or auto. If you see my list is not correct, please let me know and I'll change it. Oh yeah, if you do have a Green NSX with a VIN of less than 35 and the roof is NOT black, PLEASE let me know.

Darn: Honda's Owner-Link site shows white for #35, which conflicts with your list and what the owner of #35 reported.

My "source" for this data was Honda's Owner-Link site. Thanks, insx for the creative suggestion. Basically, I started with a 1994 VIN for 5MT transmission, changed the serial number to 1, ran it thru the VIN decoder to get a valid check-digit and fed this VIN to the Owner-Link site to get interior and exterior colors, incremented the serial number and repeated.

If the VIN did not return a match, I assumed it was because the transmission was not manual, so I simply changed the VIN to that of a 4AT tranmission and updated the check-digit.

Maybe my assumption/procedure was flawed in some way or perhaps (seems unlikely) the Owner-Link site's database has bad data.

Litesokneecough, can you verify the color and market of #35? Maybe it was Canadian #35.

Thanks Ojas for doing that. I tired the Honda link but ran into trouble with the VIN's working. Tried several different combinations but still had trouble. Anyway, thanks again.

Now maybe we can get Lud to update the http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/General/changesbyyear.htm page to reflect the correct "9(?)":

Keyed roof color to body color in late-year green cars (first 20(?) greens were with black roof)

Although we still don't know if VIN's 32 and 33 have a Green or Black roof, we are much closer to knowing the answer to the ultimate NSXPrime question
