2001 Acura NSX Full Interior
JH4NA21661T000150
I have the full interior out of this NSX. It is in as close to Factory New condition
as you will ever find. This car was wrecked at California Speedway in
Fontana, CA on 10-29-2000
The car had 3550 miles on it at the time as seen in the photos of the speedo
in the dashboard.
I purchased the full interior from the salvage yard the car was taken to from
the track. They were required to cut the car up in the presence of personal
from Honda so the car would not be re-built.
I purchased the full interior at the time for $5000 with plans to hang onto it
and swap it into my very nice 1991 that had a small amount of wear on the
seat bolsters but never got around to it.
This complete interior has been stored in my climate controlled garage
wrapped in heavy bubble wrap for 15 years.
I just sold my 91 NSX a few months ago so no longer need the interior.
I prefer to sell it all as one set to someone, I do not want to ship bits
and pieces all over the place, I just don't have time.
While I am sure it's value has likely increased over time with like new
parts becoming harder and harder to come by.
I will sell it all for exactly what I paid $5000
There is a set of just the seats on ebay right now for $5999. I have no
doubt I could get more by piecing it out but I just don't have the time.
This is a great purchase for someone that wants to put the interior of
their aging NSX back to like new condition.
It could also be good for someone that just wants a few pieces like the
seats and then piece out the rest to end up with seats that may come
close to paying for themselves.
This interior is located in Menifee, Calif. 92584
Because there is so much stuff it would be ideal if someone can pickup
in person, but if you need it shipped I will wrap everything back up
heavily in new bubble wrap (the old wrap got very dusty) and get a
freight company to put it on a pallet and ship to you at cost.
I have a son that works with a logistics company so this could be
worked out fairly easily.
Call me if you have any questions at
1-800-714-0297 office
I have everything "except" the airbags and the in dash heater/ac control unit.
(I feel like I had that AC unit but have not run across it yet but I'm still
digging around for it. If I come across it I will include it but I can't
promise so let's say it is not included but may show up)
Here was the write-up on the crash below. From what I read other places
the car spun and went rear end into a wall.

FONTANA, Calif. -- Driver Andrew Bordin and a passenger were
injured Sunday in a pace car crash prior to the start of CART's Marlboro
500 at California Speedway.
Bordin, a competitor in the CART Toyota Atlantic development series,
was giving a guest ride to Yoshimichi Inada, senior managing director of
Pioneer Electrics, when he lost control of the specially built Acura NSX
pace car in turn two on the 2-mile oval.
Dr. Steve Olvey, director of medical affairs for CART, said Bordin
fractured and dislocated the fourth cervical vertebrae and Inada was
unconscious briefly at the scene of the accident. Both were transported
by ambulance to Loma Linda Hospital for further evaluation and
treatment.
Olvey said both were conscious and alert when they left the track.
I was only allowed to post 25 photos but you can see all images individually
here in this open directory on my server or download them as well.
