Yes they are. We are working on obtaining some for the club to use, but the best bet is to bring your own if you have the capacity to do so.

Is the track day open to all members or only those committing to the entire weekend?

All current members are welcome. We haven't finalized the fee structure yet, however, so you may be responsible for nominal track day fees.

With just three weeks left until Est Fest, we have received a great bit of news from Honda Canada.

WE WILL HAVE THE NEW NSX AT EST FEST!!!

Honda Canada will be sending a power train engineer with the Canadian Press Car for the Friday evening festivities at Shannonville. Honda hasn't informed us whether members will be allowed to drive or have passenger laps in the car, but we'll very likely be able to have a thorough look around. There is, as always a caveat; if there are problems with the car between now and EST Fest, we may not get the car.

We have also finalized the fee structure for the weekend. For every attendee, we will be charging $80 which will cover the following:

Track day - including club insurance.
Goodie bag with many awesome gifts
Security guard for the parking area both nights.
Snacks and drinks for the weekend (no alcohol at the track!)
Dinner on Friday night
Tech session with our wonderful Tech Advisor, Mr. Rob Magro on Saturday morning
Dinner on Saturday evening.
Show and shine on Sunday morning

After the tech session on Saturday morning, we will be having our traditional cruise followed by a visit to "The Grange of Prince Edwards" Winery for a wine tour and lunch. Please note that you will be responsible for paying for your own lunch and wine tour on Saturday afternoon at $40 per person plus taxes and gratuity.
We'll be sending out an email with the itinerary to the confirmed guests a few days prior to the event, so keep your eyes peeled.

If you haven't called to book your room, please do so at 1-800-621-4956, then reply to let us know you're coming!

The forecast for next week is Sunny and between 16-20 degrees, so it should be great.

Track day only is $50 and includes dinner and drinks at the track.
Unfortunately it will not include any swag.

Would like to attend track event if even just to watch as weather doesn't look promising. Are daily drivers allowed l prefer not to drive in rainy roads if even at the back of the pack?

My Weather Network App shows Shannonville to be sunny with highs of 26 for Friday. You can bring your daily driver and regret not bringing the NSX. See you on Friday

So did you get out for a rip in it Bram??

Yes, because of insurance purposes, we were not allowed to drive the car....however I was taken as a passenger for a HOT lap around the track, and we did a Launch control, which was mind blowing.
The car is a rocket off the line and it never stop pulling, stops on half a dime and the ride is Super smooth and comfortable....Wow. What a car.

PS I still smiling from the ride.....Acura have created a WINNER!!!!
