My 1999 NA2 was purchased in SoCal, San Diego on 6/12 to be exact from a classic car collector who owned 6-7 different American classic cars in his garage. I was lucky enough to be the first person to call the seller soon as I found his add on Craigslist. So after a week of negotiation I finally booked a one way ticket for me and my wife and knew I was going to drive her all the way back to the bay area.

After owning my NA2 for less than a week I could not come up with a name for this car. So I had to ask my wife to give her one and she immediately named her Kelly from the Show 'Save By The Bell' because shes a 90' chick. By the way she named my s2000 'Baby Mama' and I don't know why and till this day I still stand by that lol.

I will post more pictures after work today.

My plans are to restore all worn oem parts for now. I am starting with the frontend. The front bumper has seen it's age so I am going to have it professionally paint corrected.

The front bumper is finally off. It looks shiny from far away. If you scroll down to the next images I think its time to have the paint corrected. Worse case I will need to repaint the whole bumper.

The rear valance and bumper also needed some touch up. While I was at it I decided to take the whole rear assembly off. Even though she is a clean title I just had to make sure she was 100%. I was happy to see there was no damages on the front or rear frame. I knew the car was untouched while in the process of removing the rear assembly. Each bolt I encountered was caked with old debris and all was counted for.

Wow bro you move FAST!!! Just a little over a week with Kelly and you're already taking off her skirt sheesh. I drove mine around for many miles and tested the waters before going in lol.... Welcome to ownership and hope to meet you soon!

Thanks for the warm welcome! MexiRicer! I had to go in soon as I can. I couldint stand all the rockchips and gashes on the front and rear bumper.

I had a few hundred miles in. I drove it from San Diego to the Bay area. The first few miles was already sold to me.

Thank you Flex!

I finally got the front bumper back from the bodyshop. Unfortunately the rock chips was too deep to paint correct and had to repaint the front end. It took a couple of weeks to paint match and multiple attempts on a loose panel. I also decided to keep the emblem.

Looks great. But all sexy ladies need lips.

I enjoyed my kwv3 on my s2k so I decided to purchase a v3 for the nsx also. I will enjoy the oem suspension a little longer before installing them.

Nice! You're on the same track as I am with my '97. You're a lot better at documenting your progress though. KW's and valance waiting for install and more pieces of the puzzle to arrive.
