Time Trials with Porsche Owners Club at Spring Mtn Raceway

Here's some in car video from during a Porsche Owners Club Time Trial. It was fun being the only non Porsche on track. I "qualified" 2nd. My stock motor just doesn't have the straightaway speeds to keep up with the GT3's. However, I think if I had a rear wing and a splitter my corner speeds would have made up for the difference in this Time Trial. This is most evident starting at about 4min 45seconds.

Outstanding Ryan....is that a Traqmate on your dash? what tires were you running?
Did they come over ck out your car?
Either you have mad skills or they were ex-NHRA:wink:

Thanks for the good word. Yes, that is a Traqmate. I still need to learn how to sync it with my GoPro camera. I'm running Nitto NT01 235/17 front and 275/17 rear. Occasionally the Porsche guys do come over to check out the car. I love when they ask what I've done to the motor and I say it's stock with 117,000 miles on it. Ha.

The LVRPC is having a HPDE weekend at this track Nov 26 and 27, sat and Sun. $350 for both days with instruction. This is an excellent,

safe group to run with. I am not a member of this club but do teach with them.

I'm bummed I missed the event. Definitely one of my favorite tracks.
