Off my '92 with ~125k miles on it. Engine ran great and was never subjected to any damage or metal shavings. Never over-revved for the 65k miles and nine years I've had it.
Great for a core rebuild, or if you've scored your housing, or if you want to experiment with porting and filling/smoothing for reduced pressure drop. This housing is in great shape with just minor wear. Relief valve floats freely in bore. Selling because I bought a new housing and pump from Acura for my complete engine rebuild.
I used my feeler gauges to get the following:
From the SM:
____________Housing to Rotor_______Housing to Rotor______Rotor Radial
___________Axial Clearance (in)____Radial Clearance (in)____Clearance (in)
SM Range:___0.0008 to 00028_______0.0008 to 0.0075____0.0008 to 0.0071
OEM w/125k:_Less than 0.002__________~0.0035"__________~0.0035
*Note that 0.002" is the smallest feeler gauge I have.
You'll need to clean it up, put in a new crush washer for the relief valve, new rubbers, new crank seal, and locktite the screws back on the cover plate. Those were a pain to remove, but you can see the heads were not damaged. Includes the old oil pump gear too, but I recommend replacing it with a billet one and then checking the clearances (or machining it for thicker high-volume pump gears).
$225 shipped in the continental US. Paypal only please.
Thanks,
Dave
