Info on 2005 NSX, Black/Black, JH4NA21695S000090

Looks to be super low miles but any one have ideas on the mileage discrepancy issue?

Ive seen that one here and on Autotrader. Its lovely, but the mileage discrepancy thing is kinda weird.. could be nothing.

Not sure I could talk myself into dropping 75 gurr into it though, even with less than 12k miles and believe me, I've tried several times to convince myself its okay. :wink:

Wait so this car has been to Canada twice?

I think the current owner is located in Canada as well.

Does anyone know who the original owner was (Prime member) and how many owners since then? My friend is interested in the car but just want to make sure the mileage issue is not a warning sign.

The car was first leased on April 27th 2005 in Georgia with 5 miles on it.

On September 12th 2007 it was registered in Calgary, Alberta Canada.

On October 9th 2008 it was registered in Dallas Texas, it had 5 083 miles back then.

This car was first on ebay in April 2012 and the location was Texas, according to the ebay pictures the car was/is in very good cosmetical condition.

Autocheck report ran on January 19th 2012 shows no red flags / warnings.

I would not be concerned with the mileage thing as long as the rest of the car checks out, the garages that do the smog checks sometimes dont do their due diligence and get the odometer readings right..

Guys,

Obviously I am new to the board. I think I just bought this car. I know that there is a mileage discrepancy on carfax but it really looks like an extra digit at one service point. It appears that the car had 4000 miles in 2007 rather than 40,000. Otherwise the car has 36,000 more than it shows which I don't think is possible given its condition. It is a two owner car that went to Canada and then to Dallas with the current owner. I feel pretty confident that there are no stories here but if anyone knows anything about this particular car before I toss my check across the line I would appreciate it.

I got complete service records on the car and they proved without a doubt that carfax had it wrong. Surprisingly, I sent the documents to carfax by an email link and they corrected the report in a matter of a few hours after I sent the email. I was shocked that the process was that easy to get a correction but maybe it was because the evidence was so clear. Just an FYI for those of you whose cars may have a mistake in the car fax report.

This car is awesome. As the owner of a lot of different marques some of which cost a lot more i was really impressed with the quality of the oem paint. It has almost no orange peel.

Hello- did you buy that 2005 NSX in Berlina black vin ending in 90? Seems to be for sale by Marshall Goldman currently. How long did you own it and what can you tell me about the car? Much appreciated
