does anyone know what size the aluminum beam is for the weight reduction when removing the steel one and replacing it with aluminum. I thought there was a posting here on it but I am unable to find it. Thanks

I actually did this just 5 min ago. I am going to take it back off. I can weigh it tomorrow. The weight difference did not seem significantly more or less with the Updated read beam.

OEM 1991 Rear Beam Steel - 23.7 lbs
OEM 1995 - 2005 Rear Beam Aluminum - 18.5 lbs
STMPO Aluminum Replacement Beam - 8.8 lbs

I just took off the beams and reinstalled. CHRIS NSX's post is about right on the money with what I have also. Except .1oz on the updated beams. For a 4lb difference I don't see the need unless you have significant savings IMO. I myself will not sacrifice savings so I am sticking to the OEM stuff, updated of coarse.
