Just installed a set of Enkei PF01's and Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 tires on my car. A special thanks to bboxer for recommending that I get the 35mm 18x9.5 rears instead of what Tirerack was recommending (which was a 45mm offset).

After 9 years with my old wheels, I really like the change.

Here's a few pictures...

Very nice wheels, if I ever change my racing wheels those will be the once i change to.

BTW, the wheels are 17x8 front (with a 45 mm offset) and 18x9.5 rear (with a 35mm offset). Tirerack, where I ordered these from, suggests different offsets (which are less aggressive), but will sell these offsets if you ask them to.

Good choice in wheels!

The 17x7.5 +38 front is also a good alternative if you want less of the "stretched tire" look.

this setup looks clean and tasteful...

personally i think this is the ideal double staggered nsx wheel setup as it looks more 'natural' (wheels dont overly big) and functional/driveable then an 18/19 setup (from the nsx owners ive spoken to)

i am assuming 215/40/17 + 265/35/18?

Yes, the tires are 215/40-17 and 265/35-18.

I bought a new set of Goodyear F1 GSD3's from Tirerack several years ago before they quit making these sizes, and have been waiting to find a nice wheel to put them on.

Tirerack only stocks 17x8 and 18x8 in black. They don't have the 18x9.5, although Enkei now makes that size in black. Anyone know of any other retailers that might carry the 18x9.5 size in black?

Oh man this is what I wanted to do! And yes, I was going to call Tirerack and have them order me the other offset. They look great! Maybe next year I'll buy myself a set.

They look great, Mike !
Glad you got the more aggressive offset for the rears.
My signature link shows what they look like in bright silver on a black car.

Mike O, can you post some pictures looking down the fender so I can see how they sit with that offset relative to the car? If its not too much trouble..

Also, what suspension setup do you have? The ride height looks perfect, are you only stock springs?

These wheels looks good, similar to the work cr Kai. I wonder what's the difference in quality between the two.

The Enkei's are:
1) lighter: 17.2lbs vs 20lbs (for a 17x8" wheel)
2) cheaper: ~$250 per wheel vs ~$350 per wheel
3) better made: Flow Formed vs low pressure cast

The Work's have better "fitment" though because they have a concave face option for the rear.

Keep in mind that there are two Work CR Kai's now. The Standard CR Kai and now the new Work CR Kai Ultimate (Kiwami).

The Work CR Kai Kiwami (Ultimate) is:
1) still slightly heavier
2) still more expensive
3) made about the same as the Enkei with Flow Forming technology
4) a better fitment.

Here's a few pictures for you. I am on stock springs, but have a set of Bilsteins set on the lower perch.

I'd be interested in seeing this same shot, only with the sun shining on this side instead of it being in the shade.

Has anybody run 17x8.5 et40 and 18x10.5 et38 on his car? It is time for me to get new wheels and I like these. I am debating to either get the 17x8 et 45 and 18x9.5 et35 for decent aggressiveness or the really aggressive 17x8.5 and 18x10.5 route.
From Mike's pictures, I am surprised that the 17x8 et45 is not as tucked in as I would expect from such size and offset. I wish Enkei made a 17x8 et 38 or 40 but it does not.

I'm running Enkei RP03s in 17x8 +40 and 18x9.5 +38. Search for my posts for pics.
