I've gone Imola so it is time to sell my beloved Sebring Silver after 10 wonderfull years of ownership :smile::smile:
Bastanza approved and refreshed by Vince's AutoBody (PBassJo). Meticulous care and service records that date back to February 1994 at 8,700 miles! All services up to date and the car is ready for another 100k miles.
1992 Sebring Silver/Black 5sp manual. 1 of 103 5sp manuals made in Sebring Silver in 1992. Originally from Las Vegas, I purchased this car from the 2nd owner who brought it back to the east coast. Car had 37k miles when purchased in 1999. Current mileage is 108k miles. Title and Carfax are clean.
Maintenance Highlights:
by Bernie at Davis Acura
1999: 30k Service (at 39k miles)
2000: Timing Belt Service (at 42k miles)
2000: Passenger Window Regulator (driver's side replaced by prior owner)
2004: Replaced A/C Compressor
by LarryB:
2006: All 23 Hoses Replaced
2006: 60k service (at 80k miles)
2006: New Clutch Master Cylinder
2007: Original clutch replaced for the 1st time (with OEM) (90k miles)
2007: Car is in Snap Ring range. Never failed but while replacing clutch I had Larry perform the Snap Ring Repair service just in case
2007: Replaced Right CV Boot, All new Horns and Battery Ground
2010: Timing Belt Service at 108k miles
Yes, I had Larry replace the timing belt once I realized it was time for it's 3rd T-Belt!!! (time sure does fly). Everything is up to date. A true turnkey car.
Cosmetic Highlights:
2007: Complete repaint by Joe Lomoriello of Vince's AutoBody. Yes, the car was in an accident and had damage to the driver's rear qtr panel. Complete documentation of the before and after is available and will be included.
2008: New windshield due to 100k miles of sandblasting.
Upgrades:
Custom Stereo (stock head unit with upgraded speakers including Zetoolman sub)
3M Clear Bra applied after repaint. Front bumper is still smooth as glass.
SSR Integral A2 wheels (16/17) with Michelin Pilot Sport tires with plenty of tread left
RM Sway bar (original is also available)
Titanium Dave's Crank Shaft Pully Guard
Autovation Pedals
Rear window slightly tinted (that's how I got it)
Now for a few pictures. Many more Hi-Res pictures available upon request.
Price: $26,500 obo
Car is located in Pennington, NJ.
Miscellaneous:
Trunk and Engine hatch struts have been replaced over the past few years. All are working as expected. No issues with the HVAC unit. Functions normally with no signs of failure on the horizon. Since both window regulators have been replaced, there is no need for the window fix-it doo-dads.
Negatives: not much
The paint is only 15k miles old and with the clear bra, the front end looks great. The seats are original so there is some very minor wear on the driver's seat bolster (hard to see in the picture above). One of the rims does have some curbing. On cold days, if you don't let the car idle for a minute or two, sometimes the check engine light will come on because of the aging O2 sensor. Been like that for the last 5 years. Honestly, I keep forgetting to mention it to Larry when I have the car there for service.
I have been a member of the NSXCA since 2000 and proud to serve as your current NSXCA Treasurer. My sincere hope is that the car stays in the NSXCA family (especially in the Northeast). If you are interested in a well taken care of car that is ready for another 100k miles, this car should be on your list of cars to check out.
I'm sure I've might have missed something, so if you have any questions, please send me a PM and I'll be happy to respond.
Thanks,
Don
