Fivestar Autoworx: Group buy on Strasse Forged wheels

After receiving such great feedback and interest on these wheels, i have since been working on getting a special deal for us NSX owners!! This will be the only group buy that Strasse Forged will allow me to post, as its not accustomed to do group buys on wheels. It took lots of work and commitment from my part to be able to make this happen and I genuinely hope that many of you will take advantage of this opportunity! Unfortunately 18" sizes were not going to be offered, but due to my relationship with the owner of Strasse Forged, i was able to convince him to offer 18's in order for the NSX community to be able to take advantage of these new wheels and new designs :biggrin:. These 2 styles will be offered in standard finishes which are:
-Brushed center, polished or chrome lips
-Gloss black center, polished or chrome lips.
-Matte black center, polished or chrome lips.
-Gunmetal center, polished or chrome lips.
-Silver center, polished or chrome lips.
-Bronze/Gold center, polished or chrome lips.
-(Standard finishes come with raw inner barrels)

$$ 3,625 + actual shipping charges.
** this price is for standard finishes only, custom finishes will be extra**
** Limited to first 5 sets**

Custom finishes available upon request:
-Powder coated lips in color of choice.
-Powder coated center in color of choice.
-Powder coated inner barrels in color of choice.
-Pin stripe on lips in color of choice.
-PPG color matched center, lips, or pin stripe.

Wheels will be offered with standard visible hardware/rivets, or hidden(reverse) hardware at no extra charge.
Center caps are Aluminum (NOT PLASTIC) and will be offered in polished, brushed, or custom finish.

Race Prep Package:
The race prep package is a very unique option that is available for those looking to take advantage of weight saving. This option involves introducing hollow chambers into the wheels center pad, in different places depending on the wheel type/style. This process significantly reduces weight, even by several pounds per wheel in some cases. The price for this package will be $300 per set, but for this group buy I have worked out the price to be offered at $150 for the full set! Definitely worth the price!
Titanium Hardware is also offered as an option but please inquire for pricing on this.

Custom NSX fitments, exclusive to Fivestar Autoworx.
2 Sizes to choose from:
-18x8.0 front & 19x11.0 rear (3.5" lip) Most Aggressive Offset
-18x8.0 front & 19x10.5 rear (3" lip) Aggressive Offset
(These are fully custom wheels that are manufactured to each customers application or specific request in size and finish. Other sizes are available, such as 18" on all 4 corners, and different widths if requested. Just as well, wide body applications can also plus size to 19" on all 4 corners, or 19"/20" combo. Please inquire on different size requests.)

**If you have big brakes please specify make/model of BBK in order to manufacture wheels to fit your BBK setup. All wheels are custom built to order and will NOT require any spacers or centering rings!!

3 Piece Forged Aluminum
Light weight, high strength and quality 6061-T6 Forged Aluminum
Aerospace precise forging
Hub-centric Fitments
Stainless Steel Fasteners
Manufactured to each vehicles exact fitments and specifications.
Unlike cast aluminum, which usually has considerably less strength and more weight, forging although more expensive, maximizes the performance of the wheel!!

Just want to let everyone know I ordered a set of the S5 for my Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder! Now im still eagerly waiting for them to come in and throw them on the car but all I can say for now is that these guys are a class act and the customer service has been top notch to say the least. If I end up keeping my NSX I will be buying a set for that car as well!

I came in early this morning to get these numbers in, knowing that they are an important factor for us NSX owners who are very conscious about weight. I removed my front and rear wheels and un-mounted tires to get the wheels on the scales. These numbers represent the weight of each wheel including valve stem, balancing weights, and center caps. The only thing missing is the Tire. This is not including Race Prep, and with Stainless hardware, NOT titanium. The results are VERY promising!

The Race Prep Package can shave off another 1-2 lbs, depending on the style, size and offset of wheel. Titanium hardware will also aid in shaving some more off the scale :biggrin:

In comparison to the following:
(I dont know how accurate these numbers are, I found them here on prime)
BBS LM
18x8.5: 22.4lbs
19x10: 27.5lbs

OEM 02+
17x8.5: 20.9lbs

I would also like to mention that my front wheels (18x8.0) have a very large center pad due to the extra clearance needed to clear BBK. These were made to clear Brembo's as I have a set on order. If no BBK clearance is needed then the mounting pad will be much thinner, resulting in a lighter wheel.

Keep in mind that the rears are 19x11.0 and don't have Race prep, so going down to x10.5 or x10 and adding the race prep will definitely yield promising results!!:biggrin:

Nice. Could matte gunmetal be considered a standard finish too? Pm me about a set of sm8 matte gunmetal with polished lip thanks
