So my Boss -which is a great guy btw- has a beautiful Carrera 4S, my S2k used to look quite mundane next to this beauty, he is a huge Pcar fan, has some 70's amazing porsches that look better than most cars out there ... anyways ... so finally his Carrera has some good company :D ...

I did installed my ARK-DTS --thanks to Weedwhackers-- and I like the exhaust, not that loud which is good since i had the BRUTAL invidia on my S2k and definitely better than the stock one, also this weekend i rebadged with jdm H's -thanks to evof575gtc - ... and installed the WW front lip .. I am basically almost done, I like my cars clean, maybe a bit of a drop, some wheels (if I ever find the model5) and 02 rear valance, that'll be all ...

On the side note, guys, what do you think about this:

nsx_gm_sample.jpg

Should I change the color of the wheels to Gun Metal?
That only b/c I believe this factory wheels are nice looking, they just need some more "cojones" (HUEVOS-lol) there, adding H's in red will look good, IMHO .. what do you think? should I do it? I am very crafty and I can DIY them .... decisions decisions ..

I did my S2k ones and I liked, just the 16" OEM wheels were not that attractive design wise ..

Looking good!

Offtopic I always wondered who came up with the word "cojones" because it doesnt actually mean anything in real spanish.

HAHAHAh OK i'll give you that, neither i know, we say HUEVOS in south america LOL ....

I think the gunmetal will add cojones, not that your car needs them as it looks great as it is.

Taken from:

http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/Cojones

Cojón IPA: [ko'xon] (plural: cojones) along with huevos (literally "eggs") is one of the most common ways of referring to the testicles in Spanish. It contains the augmentative suffix -ón (which implies largeness), and derives from Vulgar Latin coleonem, the accusative form of coleo "testicle", an augmentative form of cōleus (variants: cūleus and culleus), which meant "bag", particularly "leather bag for holding liquids".

The car looks good and I like the photoshop color of the wheels.

I think this sunday i'll be we sanding and working on this .... OMG my wife will kill me ....

It looks so tiny next to the 4X4.

LOL, almost anything looks big next to an nsx ... I am amazed how much space we have inside .. and I am not even skinny ..

I think the gunmetal will add cojones, not that your car needs them as it looks great as it is.

Thanks so much, yeah, I am still debating about that ...

i would go with the factory gray color for the wheels like how they came stock on the 94-96 models. they are dull, flat, but not too dark where you can't see the actual wheel anymore. you should consider those

its ironic because i originally thought that the previous owner had put these wheels on your since because it looks dark and flat in some of your pictures, and now your looking to make it darker yourself.

It's Cuban...and yes it does mean something in spanish

Nice car...take those "blackout" covers on the s2k  I think you need to park your NSX next to his s4 now  Also, do you usally part your car over the parking bumper like that? If you do, maybe you should start getting in the habbit of not getting so close so when you lower the car you dont lose your exhaust :frown:

Don't forget some subtle sideskirts like the 02 OEM or the Wings West to complete the body lines.

Congratulations on your new love, Oscar. I've had my NSX for a little more than two months now. While I am single, I am effectively married to this car- my first real sports car and first "Sunday" car.

You will find the NSX Prime community to be a very supportive group. Competition is replaced with mutual admiration for anyone who owns or wants to own an NSX.

"Purchase of an early model NSX- $33,000. Being part of the NSX Prime community- priceless!"

haha nope that is not me, i'm a short somewhat stocky chinese guy. but that was the best picture i can find that gives you the best idea of how that color wheel looks in person. it is much darker in person than it looks in the brochures.

I second Erik B's suggestion to park next to the C4- and take some pictures!. I'd love to see how it compares from different angles. Congrats and nice car BTW!

Nice!! More DIY spray paint wheels! Hehe. Good job on the S2k wheels.

Here's some I did.. silver to black.... I was so happy.. too bad the wheels didn't fit the NSX at all and I was forced to remove..

Have you ever seen the 03+ (or whatever years they are) newer NSX wheels painted in gunmetal? Those are amazingly hot! Both 7 spoke NSX wheels look great in gunmetal... Too bad my car came with the ugly 5 spoke NSX rims.

The one and only:wink:
I knew it, watch your language here, it's Prime, not S2ki :) ... hahhaa

Thanks man, yeah I am glad I did it .. that will save me some $$ because i do like them a lot and the tires are new, also it took off some "flashiness" out of the car and I like that, i did though a FAST 2 nights job for a weekend drive (sanding @ night it's a nightmare), i will now refinish them in a couple weeks, a bit better, but I am super happy, with the Red "H"'s in there it matches the car, then I open the door and now i just got some Zanardi floormats from SOS now and all i see is RED/Black, I LOVE it ..hahaha .. damn NSX ... is so distractive ..
Cheers ...
